Dr Ravi Morisetty joined Forrest Road GP in February 2015, bringing a wealth of international experience and knowledge to our medical centre and the Armadale community.

Dr Morisetty graduated in medicine in 1998 and has worked in various hospitals and practices in India, England and Scotland. He has undertaken placements in psychiatry and mental health, trauma and emergency medicine, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynaecology to name a few. He has been involved in teaching students from various university medical schools, an experience he enjoys and hopes to continue.

He is passionate about all areas of family practice and primary care, with special interests and added training in orthopaedics and sports medicine, surgery, reproductive health, paediatrics and dermatology and skin cancer screening.

When asked what he loves the most about being a family doctor in Armadale, Dr Morisetty says, “I enjoy working in the Armadale community because it reminds me of ‘Annan’ a town in Scotland where I did my GP training. I enjoy the variety of patients I see and it is very satisfying to be able to provide the continuity of care for my patients.”

He is happily married with two young boys and plays cricket and badminton in his spare time.  He is looking forward to continuing his relationship with the Armadale community and providing his patients with the best of care.

Dr Merlas has been working at Forrest Road GP medical centre since 2016.

Dr Merlas studied medicine in Romania. After moving to the UK in 2005, he went on to complete the General Practice training and was granted Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners UK in 2010. He has developed extensive hospital and GP practice experience, alongside an interest in health informatics, completing an MSc at City University, London in 2011. He moved to Perth in 2016 and gained a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

He has a special interest in skin cancer surgery and holds Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy. His other special interest is medical education and he is a WAGPET accredited GP trainer and examiner, as well as a Notre Dame School of Medicine GP tutor and examiner. He has a passion for providing holistic care to his patients in all the aspects of medicine. He is also passionate about the use of new technology in medicine.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with the family, fitness activities, DIY and tinkering with computers.

Dr Anu Janarthan


Dr Anu has just joined Forrest Road GP she lives locally and is Western Australian trained.

She has been trained in Western Australia and has worked in the surrounding hospitals for the last 3 years, her special interests are Women’s Health, Mental Health, Sexual Health, Family Planning and General Medicine.


Dr Anu’s working hours are:

Mondays 11am – 8pm

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8:00 -5pm 

Every Sunday 9am – 1pm

Dr Su Devathi


Dr Su (Venkata) Devathi has just joined Forrest Road GP. She comes from Yorkshire, UK bringing with her extensive international medical experience and knowledge to our medical centre in Armadale.

Dr Su graduated in medicine in 1999 and completed General Practice postgraduate training (MRCGP) in England. She has worked in various hospitals and places in India and England. Her General Practice training included specialties: Primary Care, Geriatric Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Accident & Emergency and Pediatrics.

Dr Su has also had specialist training in Women’s Health and Sexual Health.

She loves all aspects of Family Medicine and her special interests are: Women’s Health, Sexual Health and Elderly Care.

Dr Su is happily married with two children, she enjoys going to the gym, listening to music and she loves cooking. Her favourite past time is watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Su is excited to be a part of the Armadale community and she is very keen to share her wealth of experience and provide the best of care to Forrest Road GP’s patients.

Dr Kris Kotha


Dr Kris will be working Monday to Friday to 8pm and every second weekend both Saturday and Sunday.

He graduated from NTR University of Health Sciences, India with Bachelor degrees in Medicine and Surgery in the year 2009. He had a solid clinical foundation by completing his internship at Kurnool Medical College, one of the largest public hospitals in the state. There he worked in the departments of Emergency medicine, General surgery, Internal medicine, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Community medicine and so on.

After that, he worked at various places for a period of more than six years gaining extensive experience before moving to Forrest Road GP, Armadale.

He loves his work in the community providing comprehensive health care to people of all age groups. His professional interests include but not limited to Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, Men’s Health, surgery, Chronic Disease Management.

His outside interests include travel, photography, playing cricket and various other sports, also spending time with family.

Dr Basma Shaikh

Dr Basma Shaikh


Dr Basma Shaikh will be returning to Forrest Road GP in 2019.

Basma has joined our practice after many years working at Royal Perth Hospital. She is a local UWA graduate and has been working in the local community for the past five years. During her training, she has worked extensively in General medicine as well as undertaking terms in Accident and Emergency, Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, Urology and Palliative Care. She has a wide variety of medical interests including women’s health, chronic disease management and palliative care. She is also happy to see patients of all ages.
When she is not at work her interests include cooking, reading, and spending time with her young family.

Dr Tolu Soyingbe


Dr Tolu will be working Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.

Dr Tolu has a special interest in general medicine, family medicine and chronic disease.

Dr Ramani Tharavasan


Dr Ramani lives locally and has just joined Forrest Road GP.

Doctor Ramani decided to joined Forrest Road in July 2017 after deciding to become a general practitioner. Previously she was working as a hospital doctor for several years. She has done such diverse terms as internal medicine,  paediatrics, obstetrics emergency medicine, womens health mental health, geriatric medicine, to name a few.

Her hobbies include travelling, cooking and family life. 

Having worked numerous terms in different hospitals over the years, she saw first hand the increasing number of patients in the Armadale catchment area requiring health care and the attempts by the system to provide for them. Working at Forrest Road in the Armadale area brings joy and a real connection with her patients and the community, she looks forward to the pleasure of once again providing health care to the residents of Armadale.

Dr RahmanDr Mizanur Rahman


Dr Mizanur Rahman graduated from Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital in Bangladesh with Bachelor degrees in Medicine and Surgery in 1998. He worked in various positions and department including haematology, infectious diseases, internal medicine, psychiatry, Accident and Emergency.

Dr Rahman also trained in Dusseldorf University Hospital in Germany and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA.

He enjoys clinical diagnostic challenges in the community setting, comprehensive health care that is offered in a GP setting.

His outside interests include reading, writing, travel, photography, astronomy and spending time with his family.

Dr. Gayatri Borude – Gynaecologist

Dr Borude has been working at Forrest Road GP medical centre since 2016.

Dr Borude graduated in 1999, obtained her Masters Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2002. She completed a Post Graduate in Fertility in 2008 and obtained Fellowship from The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology in 2010. She also works at SJOG Mount Lawley in her own practice and BULK BILLS for IVF.

Amin-ShevketogluAmin Shevketoglu


Amin Shevketoglu studied at the Queensland University of Technology in 2014 and achieved his Bachelor of Health Science Podiatry.

His special interests are sports injuries, rehabilitation and biomechanical assessment.

Amin enjoys keeping fit and following all codes of football, especially The English Premier League.

Ivan Menon

Dr Ivan Menon has over 20 years of experience working in the health and disability fields. He possesses a Doctorate in Psychology from Murdoch University and is a certified hypnotherapist.
Ivan spent his initial years working as a psychologist providing assessment, critical incident intervention and program development and measurement in alcohol and drug treatment as well as lecturing in a tertiary setting.



He is now cultivating an interest in treatment for youth, family therapy and PTSD specialising in the use of hypnotherapy where needed to support positive client based outcomes. Ivan has experience helping clients with a full range of work and life challenges as:

Halinka Healy

Clinical Psychologist

As a Clinical Psychologist, Halinka can assist by helping you to find alternative ways of living and thinking in order to lead a more meaningful life.She helps people work through a wide range of difficulties and has specialist skills in the areas of anxiety disorders (such as PTSD, OCD, social phobia, and panic disorder), depression, couples therapy, grief and loss, and critical incident debriefing. She has also worked with clients having difficulties in parenting, work stress, life adjustment, sleep disorders, pain management, substance abuse, spirituality, and mental illness.

Freya McMillanFreya McMillan


Freya has been working at Forrest Road GP since 2017.

Freya graduated from Curtin University with a BSc in Physiotherapy.

Freya’s passion is to help her clients achieve their physical goals, alleviate their musculoskeletal pain and promote positive long-term health outcomes.

Freya uses the latest evidence-based treatment approach that targets all contributing aspects to an individual’s pain and dysfunction. She will aim to find the root underlying cause and will treat her clients using a combination of hands-on therapy, movement re-training, prevention and pain management advice and an individualized home exercise program.

Freya has had prior experience working with high-level sporting clubs including a premier league rugby union club and additionally, has worked as an Occupational Health and Safety Trainer.

Outside of work Freya enjoys living an active lifestyle and spending time on the family farm.
